Getting started

Create an account, then import your app: a zip archive of the folder (without node_modules), or the address of a public Git repository. Easy Deploy analyses it in under a minute.

The name you give becomes the test address: “My CRM” gives my-crm.glossar.ai.

The Claude Code plugin

In Settings > API tokens, create a token and copy the two export lines shown into your terminal.

In Claude Code, add the plugin source then install it: /plugin marketplace add <easy-deploy repository address> then /plugin install easydeploy@easydeploy.

From your project folder, run /easydeploy:deploy. Claude imports the app, applies the requested fixes, asks you for missing variables and deploys the test version. Updates use the same command.

The .easydeploy.json file created in the project only holds the app identifier: you can commit it.

Reading the verdict

Ready: nothing to change, you can deploy.

Fixes needed: the list of points, required and recommended, with an instruction block to paste as is into Claude Code or Codex. Your assistant fixes them, you re-import, and the verdict updates.

Rejected: the app's stack cannot be hosted here (for example MySQL or MongoDB). The message explains what to change to get back within scope.

Variables

Easy Deploy itself provides the port, the app's address, the database and the session secrets.

Variables specific to your app (a third-party API key, an admin email) are entered on the app page before deployment; secrets are encrypted. The analysis finds them in your .env.example file.

Your domain

The test version is served on an Easy Deploy sub-domain. Once publishing is open, enter your domain on the app page, point an A record to the address shown, then click Publish: the public version is a second copy with its own database.

Automatic domain connection and emails sent from your domain come in a later step.

Your data

The Data screen shows your app's tables read-only and exports each table as CSV. For a SQLite database, this screen arrives together with backups.

Before each update of an app already online, Easy Deploy takes a backup.

What Easy Deploy does not do

Fix bugs in your app: that is your assistant's job, and the instructions send you back to it.
